Three IML technologies, one expert.
DK Ofset is one of the few manufacturers running all three IML technologies — Injection, Thermoform and Blow-moulding — in-house. 6 production lines, 7/24 capacity, 30+ export countries.
IML-INJInjection IML
High precision for rigid plastic packaging
Injection IML is the original technology from which the term In-Mould Labelling derives. A pre-printed and die-cut BOPP (Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene) film is placed inside the injection mould. The molten polypropylene (PP) injected into the mould bonds molecularly with the label because both belong to the same polymer family — the package and label form in a single cycle. The result: a single-piece product decorated with high print quality, with no peel, no tear, and no separation required for recycling.
IML-TRMThermoform IML
Optimised BOPP for thin-film thermoform
Thermoform IML works on the principle of placing the label in the mould during the thermoform process — where plastic sheets are heated and shaped. The label printed on thin-film BOPP forms an adhesive bond with the surface as the heat-softened plastic wraps the mould — the result: a single-piece, peel-resistant, premium-looking package. Thanks to high-volume production economics and broad sector compatibility, it is the IML technology of choice for yoghurt, ice cream, margarine, cheese, ready-meal, cosmetic and skincare packaging.
IML-BLWBlow-moulding IML
Durable IML for blow-moulded products
Blow-moulding IML unifies blow-moulding and in-mould labelling within a single production cycle. A pre-printed BOPP label is fixed inside the mould; as molten HDPE or PP plastic is shaped by pressurised air, the label fuses to the outer surface at a molecular level. The result is a labelled bottle with no additional print layer or adhesive — high-durability packaging for milk + juice bottles, personal care products and industrial chemical containers.
IML-XCTCustom Solutions
Custom formula, size, material
Beyond standard IML, our R&D lab works on custom projects: barrier films, special colour collections, antibacterial coatings, bio-plastic IML solutions. DK Ofset R&D delivers feasibility + samples within 6 months.
